Stonehenge

It’s a little difficult to realize that exactly 18 days ago, we were standing within reach of the standing stones of Stonehenge.

Friends in my social media feed are painfully aware of our very first ever trip to London and have been bombarded with incessant check-ins and photos. I am not going to apologise for the enthusiasm, nope. Stonehenge was in or bucket list but we did not realize we would tick that off this time because I just did not have time to organize the trip. Thank goodness for the angel that is called Paula, who so kindly offered to meet us at the train station in Newbury and drive us to the monument! We cannot thank you enough, Paula.

I have a few dozen photos of the stones and the surrounding fields but here is a sneak peek at this breathtaking wonder of the ancient world. Click for the full size.

Bear with me as I integrate back into the daily grind. More posts and photos of our trip will follow soon!

  1. I am glad to find this post – I was literally thinking the other day ‘I wonder if Jocelyn is still writing on her blog?’. Thanks for sharing Stonehenge, I would love to see this some day. Incredible!

      1. Lol on the throwbacks. I slacked off for a year so who am I to judge? Now I’m writing on 2 blogs and it’s crazy. Look forward to reading you more 🙂
