If you were to judge your favorite book by its cover, would you still read it?

Yes.

I have latent OCD and one of the times that it kicks in is when I am choosing books I want to buy. I would visit several bookstores, in different parts of the city if I have to, until I get a copy of the book that I want because I want consistency with the size of the book and the style of the cover.

For example, my Anita Blake series, the ones I have managed to find anyway, all feature similar artwork. I refuse to buy any of the missing books in the series unless it was the same artwork. The same goes for my Alex Cross and Women’s Murder Club series. I tried to do that with the Harry Potter series, but I was eager to start reading the books as they came out so I grabbed them rightaway.

In conclusion, yes, I would still read my favourite book judging by its cover.
