It’s taken four years, but our little knitting group has finally landed a full-page spread on a local newspaper.

It’s not the New York Times, but almost everyone in the UAE knows of and reads 7Days. It almost didn’t happen too as we were running late to the Monday meeting and Eve Dugdale, Deputy Features Editor, was almost getting ready to leave. Anyway, we had great fun knitting away and chatting with Eve, as you will see in the article.

I already received a few phone calls and emails so we expect this anniversary meeting to be a great one.

Just a bit sad that fellow Amiras Lindsay, Charmaine, Preeti, Kundi, Caroline, Yanti, among others are not here to celebrate with us, but we know you are always here in spirit.
