Before anything else, happy Leap Day to every one. What have you done to make the most of this extra day which only comes once every 4 years?
This is a very late recap of my knitting projects from 2011. I thought it best to take my time and not post about FOs at the same time as everyone else. That’s my story and I’m sticking to it!
I want to show you first the socks that I knitted last year. Not as many as previous years, but still productive enough to keep some feet warm. Most of this were part of Knit Alongs and personal clubs. Otherws were spur of the moment or gifts to family and friends. Some, like the Cotty Socks, are so simple and practical and pretty that I knitted them again ang again. I have knitted Cotty Socks 5 times already and stll love it every time!
Okay, onto the socks.
L-R, top to bottom:
The Solstice Slip – STR LW, Saffron Jungle
STR 4 Cotty Socks – STR MW, Mochaberry
Bugga! Cotty Socks – Remnant Bugga! dyed by me
Sweet Home – Hazel Knits Artisan Socks, Starberry Lemonade
Walk Now – Dubai Knits Chameleon, Sea Breeze
Breaking Hearts – Lorna’s Laces Shepherd Sock Multi, Golden Hill
Shur’tugal – Yarntini Semi-Solid Sock, Sweet Honeytini
This year so far, I have already finished 4 pairs of adult socks. So the year is off to a great start. I hope I can keep my momentum so that I can make a decent dent into my stash. So far so good with the yarn diet. The only purchases I have made are for naked skeins for the shop.
L-R, top to bottom:
Rainbow Socks – STR LW, Rare Gems from Madrona 2010
Super Simple Short Sock – Plucky Knitter Primo Fingering, Thornfield Hall remnants
Paraphernalia – STR LW, Irisghirlie Green

You are the sock queen 🙂
