One of last year’s prime yardage in was this skein of qiviut blend sock yarn, bought from Cottage Craft Angora’s website.


It is made up of 70% qiviut, 20% merino and 10% nylon and is supposed to make for some really warm socks. Now I don’t need really warm socks here in Dubai, but if our plans to migrate to somewhere colder happens, then I will need this knit up into socks.

I think I will be generous and knit my husband a pair of extra long, ribbed, warm and comfy socks. And this skein should be the perfect yarn for it!
