Before I show you my latest WIP, I want to tempt you with this platter of goodies first.
I know, right?!
This was at P. F. Chang’s at Mirdif City Centre. Sadly, we were not able to sample any of the above dessert because lunch was too filling. We promised to ourselves that we will come back, if only to have dessert.
And then here is my latest WIP. It’s a modified Crooked Paths hat for my niece Isabelle, or any other little girl who might fancy it since my niece is not really a hat person.
I wanted to use up the precious Oxblood Tosh Vintage I have leftover from the cardigan and this pattern seemed easy enough to modify. I simply cast on less and dropped to 6 pattern repeats instead of 7. I would cross my fingers while knitting if I could so that I don’t run out of yarn!
Should be finished tomorrow as it is a quick knit. How quick? Try 6 hours for the full sized adult version. Post on that FO coming shortly.
Oh and the Ishbel is still a WIP. *blushes*
Oooh luurvely! It’s going to look cute and Isabelle will definitely become a hat person for this one:) But that chocolate cake is calling out to me – gosh, that’s some major yumminess!
