The day is about to end and I have not blogged about anything. The Yarntini giveaway was just too good not to post immediately so this post is being finished only now.
Anyway as I was saying, I was trying to figure out what to say on the blog today, which should really be the easiest thing in the world to do, but no! It’s like trying to pass gall stones, or at least I think that’s what it’s like since I have never had gall stones. Thank God for that.
I realized I have not blogged about these photos of Juvy. It was not a proper setup since I only had the existing room lighting plus my trusty 430EX flash. It was a lot of trial and error and some improv, I think it worked out okay considering what we had to work with. And Juvy was always a willing model, so thanks!
These were taken early in the morning one week day and we were both acutely aware of the smallest movement coming from the front office. We didn’t want anyone walking in on us and while she was posing and stuff. That would be embarrassing! I love this particular shot since it was very candid and I got lucky it was sharp too.
The lamps in the room were quite bright but the dark wood of the furniture helped block out some of it. This could have been a perfect shot if I had paid attention to her wardrobe! Still, I like the softness of the light on her face here. I will try to do this again and will come better prepared. Maybe try to do it after office hours so that we are not rushed.
Thanks again, Juvy! Come back soon so we can plan the next shoot.
Yay, yay, yay! You worked your magic and I got in!!!! What’s a great picture if parts of it are not risque right! Great photoshoot and killer tattoo!!
