That Ysolda Teague is a genius. And she is young too so we can expect so much more from her in the years to come.
I have enjoyed every single project I have knitted so far from her designs, which include Liesl, Scroll Lace Scarf and this latest one, Damson.
I have finished two of these shawls in about a month. The first one was this pink thing. It’s not my colour but certainly belonged to my fair-skinned mother-in-law. This is her Christmas present from me.Project: Raspberry Damson
Pattern: Damson by Ysolda Teague from Whimsical Little Knits 2
Yarn: Rowan Cotton Glace
Colourway: Raspberry, 3.5 skeins
Needles: 4mm
Notes: Followed the pattern to the letter and very happy with the result
Cast on: 24 Nov 2009
Cast off: 5 Dec 2009
And since I wanted a Damson of my own, I knitted a second one from Lizard Toes’s Isobel yarn base. The colourway is Happy and the yarn is an MCN base. Fan-freaking-tastic yarn if you ask me! Go on to Lizard Toes’s shop right now and buy some.

I love this pattern and I think I will be knitting a couple more, at least.
