Someone asked me recently if I find any difference in how I take photographs now that I have taken a course. The answer is a resounding YES!
A couple of weeks ago I was looking at older photographs pre-Lightform and was cringing all the way through! I thought I took decent photographs before but now I can see some photos were overexposed, some had camera shake, and some had truly awful composition. As one of our instructors said in his lessons, “Why like this?”
I certainly know better now how to read the numbers on my LCD screen and what’s more I know what they mean!
I mentioned something about a photo competition which we were all asked to join. This is my entry. This is also my final project entry. Can you guess what title I gave this photo? Here are some random photos taken around town in the past few weeks. We’ve been getting some truly gorgeous skies in the morning, just before the sun rises high up on that horizon.
And the clearer evening skies make for some great photos too. This might be a bit blurry since I was in the car at it stopped at light.
At a bit past 6 in the morning, the streets had a beautiful glow to them.
Dear old cactus in the office. It’s blooming nicely but still icks me out with all those sharp points.
I can’t wait for the next Eid. We plan to go out of town again, take some photos and perhaps camp out too. The weather’s just perfect for camping now.
