When cuteness attacks

This photo makes me go ‘Awwwwww’ every time I look at it. My son Patrick wants to have a pet that has a teddy bear like this.

Look at it….tell me your heart doesn’t melt with the cuteness. Btw, it’s not mine (wish it was), just found this on Kefira’s journal.

Update on the One Hank Socks. Didn’t get much knitting done, but I’m about 34 rows into one leg. Here it is with the picot cuff. Next time I do a picot cuff, I will use a provisional cast on.
I cast on a new project today, Rockin’ Shur’tugals, as part of the 2nd KAL in the Socks That Rawk group in Ravelry. This is Midsummer’s Night in STR Lightweight, one of the first skeins I bought from BMFA. I fiddled a bit with the doubled tail cast on, actually still unsure of what to do with the double tail. But I’m loving this rolled, very stretchy hem. I also completed one full repeat of the leg pattern. I’m loving this one, once you get into the rhythm of the row pattern, it just goes smoothly.

Here’s a peek into my next project. Maybe I will sneak this in between other WIPS. An officemate is expecting her first baby in September and I want to knit her baby a pair of booties and a hat. Just need to do a stash dive to find suitable yarn.
